When you're ready to tear the terrain a new one, look no further than the tough protection of the Brooks Cascadia 6. Made for the trail runner seeking stability, enhanced comfort and extended durability, this advanced trail runner knows how to take a beating. With the superior cushioning technology of the Ballistic Rock Shield and Hydroflow system, there's nothing that can get in this shoe's path to greatness.
Sustainability reaches daunting new heights in the new Cascadia 6. Virtually every component has an environmentally friendly back story to wow any eco-crusader. Handle unpredictable terrain with ease and savor the sights and sanctuary of nature, knowing you have a hand (and foot) in its preservation. No greenwashing here - meaningful environmental progress goes hand in hand with off-road performance in the best trail shoe out there. We added our adaptable Brooks DNA cushioning to the heel and forefoot of the Cascadia, creating customized comfort and a shoe that adapts to different surfaces. In addition, we made sure the midfoot saddle is our most conformable and adjustable, offering an unsurpassed glove-like fit to almost any foot, and further perfecting the locked-in feel for ultra-stability. Then we added a medial forefoot pivot post with four points of contact - providing 4x4-like suspension in a much more sustainable way. Oh, and we added all that while making the shoe nearly an ounce lighter. Sweet!Category: Trail/Neutral Weight: 12.4 oz Platform: Universal Sprung Construction: Strobel Launch Date: February 1, 2011
